RESEARCH & STRATEGY
STEP 1
Ensuring the brand resonated with modern outdoor enthusiasts who balance urban life with adventure. I started by defining the brand’s core values, focusing on exploration, sustainability, and versatility.
This step was crucial in collaborating with the client, as it created a shared understanding of goals, expectations, and constraints from the outset. By actively involving the client in this phase, we were able to gather direct feedback, validate assumptions, and align on priorities before moving into execution. This collaborative approach helped minimize revisions later in the process, ensured design decisions were grounded in real business needs, and strengthened trust by making the client an active participant rather than a passive stakeholder.
SKETCHES & WIREFRAMING
STEP 2
From there, I sketched initial logo concepts, experimenting with typography and iconography that reflected both rugged landscapes and a sleek, modern aesthetic.
This exploratory phase allowed me to rapidly test visual directions, balance organic and geometric forms, and evaluate how the brand could translate across both digital and physical applications. By iterating through multiple concepts, I was able to identify strong visual themes early on and refine ideas that best aligned with the brand’s values and target audience before moving into digital refinement.
HI-FIDELITY DESIGNS
STEP 3
After refining my designs, I moved into Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, creating a strong visual identity that translated well across different mediums.
This stage focused on building a cohesive visual identity by fine-tuning typography, color palettes, and scalable logo variations. Working across both tools allowed me to ensure the designs translated seamlessly across different mediums—from digital platforms to print and merchandise—while maintaining consistency, clarity, and brand recognition.
IMPLEMENTATION
STEP 4
Once I had Figma hi-fi mockup, icons, and a clear brand identity, i began the implementation process. First I created a box frame, and began.
I started by establishing a structured box frame to define the layout and grid system, ensuring consistency and responsiveness across screen sizes. This foundational step set the stage for building out individual components, applying visual styles, and translating the design accurately from concept to a functional, polished experience.
